this question is always asked by many diabetics but unfortunately there is no answer from many doctors around the world. They (doctors) say that it can't be cured and diabetics can only swallow their medicine for their entrie life.
For us (thibbunnabawi practitioners) there is no disease that can't be cured. every disease must have the cure. we will talk about this later. Now come back to diabetes, in west medication diabetes is one of popular disease that can't be cured. it has 2 types as they said.
Type 1 diabetes
Type 1 diabetes occurs when the immune system destroys insulin-producing cells of the pancreas (called beta cells).
Normally, the immune system fights off foreign invaders such as viruses or bacteria. But for unknown reasons, people with type 1 diabetes, the immune system attacks the cells of various body. This resulted in a complete deficiency of the hormone insulin.
Understanding Insulin and Type 1 Diabetes
Normally the hormone insulin secreted by the pancreas in low quantities. When you eat food, sugar (glucose) from food stimulates the pancreas to release insulin. The amount released is proportional to the amount needed by the size of that particular food.
The main role of insulin is to help move certain nutrients - mainly sugar - into the cells of the body's tissues. Cells use sugar and other nutrients from food as a source of energy to function.
The amount of sugar in the blood decreased after entering the cell. Normally that signals the beta cells in the pancreas to lower the amount of insulin released so that you do not develop low blood sugar (hypoglycemia). But the destruction of beta cells that occur with type 1 diabetes throws the entire process into disarray.
In people with type 1 diabetes, sugar is not transferred into the cells because insulin is not available. When sugar builds up in the blood instead of going into cells, the body's cells are starved for nutrients and other systems in the body must provide energy for many vital body functions. As a result, high blood sugar develops and can cause:
• Dehydration. Build up of sugar in the blood can cause increased urination (to try to clear the sugar from the body). When the kidneys lose the glucose through the urine, a large amount of water is also lost, causing dehydration.
• Weight. The loss of sugar in the urine mean the loss of calories that provide energy and therefore a lot of people with high sugar lose weight. (Dehydration also contributes to weight loss.)
• Diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA). Without insulin and because the cells are starved of energy, the body breaks down fat cells. These products include the chemical breakdown of fatty acids called ketones that can be used for energy. This level of ketones begin to build up in the blood, causing an increase in acidity. Hearts continued to release sugar store for help. Because the body can not use sugar without insulin, more stacks of sugar into the bloodstream. The combination of excess sugar, dehydration and acid build up is known as "ketoacidosis" and can be life threatening if not treated promptly.
• Damage to the body. Over time, high sugar levels in the blood can damage nerves and small blood vessels in the eye, kidney, and heart and predispose a person to atherosclerosis (hardening) of the arteries of which can lead to heart attack and stroke.
Type 2 diabetes,
Once called non - insulin- dependent diabetes , is the most common form of diabetes , affecting 90 % to 95 % of the 26 million Americans with diabetes . In this article , you will learn the basics of type 2 diabetes, including symptoms and causes, as well as learn about type 2 diabetes in children .
What is Type 2 Diabetes?
Unlike people with type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetics produce insulin, however, either their pancreas does not produce enough insulin or the body can not use insulin adequately. This is called insulin resistance. When there is not enough insulin or does not use insulin properly, glucose (sugar) can not get into the cells of the body. When glucose builds up in the blood instead of going into cells, the cells of the body can not function properly. Another problem associated with the buildup of glucose in the blood include:
Damage to the body. Over time, high levels of glucose in the blood can damage nerves and small blood vessels in the eye, kidney, and heart and predispose a person to atherosclerosis (hardening) of the arteries of which can lead to heart attack and stroke.
Dehydration. A buildup of sugar in the blood can cause increased urination. When the kidneys lose the glucose through the urine, a large amount of water is also lost, causing dehydration.
Diabetic Coma (hyperosmolar nonketotic diabetic coma). When a person with type 2 diabetes become very ill or suffering from severe dehydration and can not drink enough fluids to make up for lost fluids, they can develop life-threatening complications.
Who Gets Type 2 Diabetes ?
Anyone can get diabetes type 2. However , those at high risk for this disease are those who
- More than 45
- Obese or overweight
- Has suffered from gestational diabetes
- Having a family member who has diabetes type 2
- having prediabetes
- Not active
- Having a low HDL cholesterol or high triglycerides levels
- Have high blood pressure
- Are members of certain racial or ethnic group
this explanation is based on medical view. and now we are talking about Thibbunnabawi view. in Thibbunnabawi view every disease can be cured, by strengthening the organ that is experiencing weakness or weaken the organ which is too strong, resulting in harmony and balance. when all organs are in harmony there is no wory about the disease. the body will automatically rebuilt and regenerate the broken cell to be a new cell. in this case (diabetes) the problem is in tihal (small stomach) or in medical language known as pancreas. to balance it we can use herbs and accupuncture or reflexology.
